What we collect
- Your identity and contact details — name, mobile number, address, and the language you choose.
- KYC documents, where the law or your role on the platform requires them.
- Your activity — listings, orders, payments, messages with other users, and support requests.
- Location, when you allow it, to price and route delivery and to show you nearby listings.
- Device information needed to deliver notifications and keep the app working.
Why we collect it
To run your account, take and settle payments, arrange delivery, meet legal and tax obligations, prevent fraud, and support you when something goes wrong. We do not use your data for any unrelated purpose.
Payment data
Card and bank details are handled entirely by our PCI-DSS-compliant payment gateway. We never see or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or bank credentials.
Who we share it with
Only with the people needed to complete what you asked for: the other party to your order, the delivery partner assigned to it, our payment gateway, and cloud and messaging providers acting on our instructions. Where the law requires disclosure, we comply.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account is open, and afterwards only as long as tax, accounting and legal obligations require.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent for location and notifications, from within the app or by emailing contact@uruvarlabs.com. Deleting your account removes your profile; records we must keep for legal reasons are retained.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted to staff who need it, and documents are stored privately with time-limited access links.
